Trumped Up Charges

   I have stayed off of this blog for many many years, as those that care to check can see. I, intuitively,  knew that Trump was going to attempt to be an authoritarian leader of the worst kind. I hold the view that all authoritarian leaders are not equal. For example, you will have those who wish to push an ethnic agenda, a cultural agenda, some type of "revolution", like an economic revolution or political revolution.  Then you have the extraordinarily rare type, Trump, that we are continuing to be embarrassed by daily. Trump is the worst type because he has no fundamental cause, no issue that he feels needs made right - other than more adoration showered on him. Trump displayed this utterly gruesomely by holding large rallies (largely unmasked) in some of the worst covid hotspots and most definitely contributing to people getting sick, hospitalized,  and potentially dying. All this risk so Trump the narcissist could revel in the adulation of his cult like followers, whom Trump himself has called "stupid" and "uneducated". Trump has called our POWs and our dead soldiers "losers" and "suckers". Trumps disrespect toward military heroes is appalling.  Trumps disrespect toward the office of the Presidency is appalling.  Trumps disrespect toward the institutional integrity of voting is appalling.  Trumps unwillingness to accept the fact that he lost is appalling.  It once again shows what I have always said and that is that the Republicans are the crybabys (especially if they get caught or flat out stopped before they are allowed to cheat).
